Jacques Cornet

Jacques brings over 20 years of capital markets and investment research experience to advising clients on comprehensive investor and capital markets strategic plans. His approach and advice are rooted in career perspectives as an analyst and investment banker. At ICR he advises clients on all aspects of capital markets strategies, including day-to-day investor relations activity, IPO, M&A and activist events in the context of shareholder value.

In his career, Jacques has advised on over 100 transactions, including capital raising in the equity and leveraged finance markets, mergers and acquisitions, proxy matters, activism prevention and defense, and corporate restructurings. He applies his capital markets knowledge to provide clients with comprehensive strategic advice and help address their most challenging issues.

Jacques’ career includes senior roles as a high-yield bond sell-side analyst, an investment banker and a buy-side analyst. He spent nine years at CIBC World Markets as the head of the high-yield research department and, subsequently, head of the gaming, lodging and real estate investment banking practice. He holds an MBA from New York University.
