Software Engineer at ICS

Corey Bufi has worked in the software engineering and research fields since 1988. Corey began their career as an Electrical Engineer at Northrop Grumman in 1988, before transitioning to a Research Scientist, Software Architect/Developer at MediaFlow, NEC Computer and Communications Lab, and MapInfo in 1996. During their internship, they developed an HTML document checker and a hypermedia research infrastructure for information organization, sharing and management. Corey also performed a comprehensive analysis of an existing object-oriented database management system. In 2001, they moved to General Electric Global Research as a Research Scientist and Software Architect. After seven years, they joined General Electric Power as a Software Engineer in 2010. In 2017, they moved to Exago Inc. and MTI Instruments as a Software Engineer. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. (ICS).

Corey Bufi completed their MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2001. Corey then obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY - Brooklyn, New York. Corey also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including Control of Mobile Robots from Coursera in October 2017, Deep Learning in Neural Networks from Coursera in January 2017, GE Analytics Engineer from GE in May 2016, Machine Learning from Coursera in April 2015, and Statistical Learning from Stanford Online OpenEdX in April 2014.
