Elizabeth Watson has over 16 years of professional experience in the education and health professions fields. Elizabeth began their career in 2004 as a Lab Coordinator/Adjunct Faculty at Brigham Young University - Idaho (BYU-Idaho). In 2008, they transitioned to Jefferson County School District #251 as a Life Science Teacher. In 2010, they held internships at Idaho State University Academic Advising and the Mental Wellness Center as an Academic Advisor Intern and Counseling Intern, respectively. From 2011 to 2018, they were a Health Professions Advisor and Academic and Career Counselor at Brigham Young University - Idaho. In 2018, they accepted the role of Director of Student Affairs at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. In their roles, they have mentored students on career goals, developed and implemented advising programs, coordinated with faculty and support staff, networked with health profession schools, and assisted students in identifying and developing skills and knowledge to be successful.
Elizabeth Watson's education history includes a Doctor of Education - EdD from Liberty University (2021-2025), a M.Coun from Idaho State University (2009-2011), a Bachelors from Brigham Young University - Idaho (2001-2004), and an AS from Brigham Young University - Idaho (1999-2001).
