Akhilesh Khare

Akhilesh Khare has extensive work experience in the field of technology and digital transformation. Akhilesh started their career in 1999 as a Senior Consultant at Tata Technologies, where they developed a Value Chain Management portal for a Tata Group company. In 2000, they moved to Mphasis as a Project Lead, leading various projects to develop end-to-end platforms and content portals.

In 2004, Akhilesh joined Citi and took on roles such as Development Lead Credit Risk Technology and Senior Development Manager Credit Risk Technology, where they implemented global digital platforms for investment banking deals and banking book collateral management. Akhilesh also developed a single global credit underwriting platform for Citi's Commercial Bank.

From 2017, Akhilesh worked at IDB Bank, starting as the Chief Technology Officer & Head of Transformation. Akhilesh was responsible for defining and executing the bank's technology strategy, increasing its digital footprint, and ensuring cybersecurity. Later, they became the EVP - CIO and COO, overseeing the modernization of the bank's technological landscape and enabling IT support for the bank's strategy and growth.

Throughout their career, Akhilesh has demonstrated a strong focus on increasing digital footprint, automating processes, and driving digital initiatives in the banking sector. Akhilesh has extensive leadership experience and a track record of successful project delivery.

Akhilesh Khare earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay between 1995 and 1999.
