Jamie Vasil

Jamie Vasil has a strong background in technology and information security risk. In their current role as Vice President of Technology and Info Security Risk at IDB Bank, they oversee the strategic planning and implementation of risk management initiatives. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Vice President of Technology and Info Security Risk at the same company.

Before joining IDB Bank, Jamie held a position as a Senior Security Analyst at Milbank LLP, where they were responsible for analyzing and enhancing the organization's security measures. They also gained experience as an Information Security Lead at Vitech Systems Group, where they played a crucial role in developing and maintaining information security policies.

Jamie's earlier experiences include working as an Information Security Administrator and System Administrator at Charles River Associates, where they handled various security-related tasks. They also served as a Systems Administrator at Professional Examination Service and a Network Technician at Forest Laboratories.

Throughout their career, Jamie has demonstrated their expertise by obtaining certifications such as CEH, CDPSE, and SSCP. Their diverse work experience and strong knowledge in technology and information security make them a valuable asset in any organization.

Jamie Vasil attended Suffolk County Community College from 1979 to 1984, earning an ASA degree in Data Processing. Jamie has also obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in 2018, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) from (ISC)² in 2017, and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) from ISACA in 2021. They have additional certifications in cybersecurity and computer forensic examination.
