Flavia Bernardo

Flavia Bernardo has extensive work experience in financial planning, budgeting, and controllership. Flavia is currently the Head of Financial Planning and Budget at IDB Invest since April 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Director General of Financial Planning & Controllership at Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação from May 2007 to August 2018. Before that, they held the position of Senior Management Accountant at LexisNexis from July 2003 to March 2007. Flavia also served as a Finance Manager at Globosat from August 1995 to April 2003.

Flavia Bernardo has a strong educational background in the field of business administration and economics. Flavia obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Westminster during the period of 2003-2005. Prior to this, they pursued a post-graduation course in economics at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro from 1994 to 1995. Flavia also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and International Relations from Estácio, which they completed from 1990 to 1993.

In addition to their formal education, Flavia Bernardo has also acquired a certification as a Wharton Online Alumni from Wharton Online in October 2018.
