Bobby Aitkenhead

Bobby Aitkenhead is the managing director at IDC Ventures. Bobby has also previously worked with Lucas, PayPal, ATW Partners LLC, and Xoom Corporation. Bobby was the CEO and co-founder of BlueKite.

Bobby Aitkenhead has a long history of working in the financial industry. Bobby started their career at PayPal in 1998, where they worked their way up to Sr. Director Product. In 2015, they left PayPal to co-found ATW Partners LLC, an investment firm based in New York. Bobby then went on to work as the VP of Bill Pay and Top Up at Xoom Corporation before becoming the CEO and co-founder of BlueKite in 2012.

Under Bobby's leadership, BlueKite grew to become a leading provider of online payments solutions, processing millions of transactions per day. In 2014, they sold BlueKite to Xoom Corporation for $890 million. Bobby then rejoined PayPal as Sr. Director Product until leaving in 2019 to join IDC Ventures as managing director.

Bobby Aitkenhead attended Southern Methodist University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration. Bobby was also a member of the SMU Basketball team.
