Vijay Makar

Vijay Makar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations, co-founding, and leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President Operations and Chief Operating Officer at Skyfire since May 2022, Vijay has also co-founded Ideas United in May 2003, overseeing initiatives such as Campus MovieFest, the largest student film festival globally, and its sister company IU Productions focused on content creation. Previous experience includes co-founding and serving as Vice President at Campus MovieFest Hollywood from 2013 to 2014, as well as working as a Financial Analyst Intern at Morgan Stanley from February 2000 to March 2001. Educational credentials include a BBA with a minor in Studio Arts from Emory University's Goizueta Business School, complemented by early education at Sewickley Academy.
