Naoki K.

Naoki K. has worked in various roles in the venture capital and technology industry since 2015. In 2015, they began their career as Partner and Europe Division Head at Global Brain Corporation, where they established and headed the Global Brain Europe HQ office with four direct reporting venture capitalists. Naoki also conducted deal sourcing and investment due diligence in startups worldwide, worked on business development for the portfolio startups, and initiated and led investment activities with Sony Financial Ventures. In 2018, they became a Mentor at Plug and Play Tech Center in Silicon Valley, and in 2019 they became an Investor/Board Director at Immense Simulations. In 2020, Naoki became a Mentor at the EBRD Star Venture programme, and in 2021 they became an Investor/Board Director at Xayn, Balance Re, SCADAfence, Idein Inc., and COGNITEE INC.

Naoki K. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cambridge, which they obtained in 2013. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2006, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Meiji University in 2004. Additionally, they hold a Certified SAFe Practitioner certification from the Scaled Agile Academy, which they obtained in August 2014.
