Jose V. Jaramillo

Jose V. Jaramillo has worked as a CAD modeler for China Railway Construction Co., Ltd. since 2015. In 2019, they began work as a Research Fellow at Sapienza Università di Roma, where they are developing ROS node (C++) and Gazebo testing environments for autonomous semantic mapping using active vision methods. Jose V. also worked as an Autonomous Driving Software Engineer at Teoresi Group in 2019. In 2021, they became an Embedded AI Engineer at Deepware S.r.l. and is currently an Hardware Engineer at Identec Solutions.

Jose V. Jaramillo has an extensive educational background. From 2009 to 2015, they obtained an Engineer's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja. In 2016, they continued their studies and obtained a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus in Artificial Intelligence & Robotics from Sapienza Università di Roma in 2018. In addition, they have obtained two edX Honor Code Certificates; one for Energy 101 in 2013 and one for ISSCC Previews - Circuit and System Insights.
