John Marc Gibbons

John Marc Gibbons is currently the Chief Digital Officer at Identity E2E Ltd, a position held since January 2024, and serves as a Non-Executive Director for the British Sub-Aqua Club since May 2022, contributing to governance and support on the BSAC Council. Gibbons’ previous extensive tenure at IBM spanned over two decades, during which multiple titles were held, including Partner in IBM Security Services EMEA and UKI Public Sector Technology Strategy Leader, focusing on projects related to border and homeland security. Prior consulting experience includes positions at PwC Consulting and Azlan, where expertise in technology strategy and IT-enabled business transformation was demonstrated. Gibbons also has an academic background as a lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science and holds a PhD in Neurochemistry from the University of London School of Pharmacy, alongside additional degrees in Neuroscience and Biochemistry.
