Chris Shaw

Chris Shaw is a highly experienced software and firmware engineer with a strong background in embedded systems development. Currently employed as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Identiv since May 2023, Chris previously held the position of Senior Mobile and Embedded Software Engineer at Sealite Pty Ltd from January 2015 to April 2023, focusing on embedded C firmware and mobile application development for iOS and Android. With earlier roles including Senior Software Engineer at Exelis, where media-processing software for the SwitchPLUS distributed C4I system was designed and developed, and a track record of developing software for bespoke defense satellite modems during tenure at EADS Astrium and Northrop Grumman, Chris possesses extensive expertise in C, C++, Java, and DSPs. Chris holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia, earned between 1991 and 1994.
