Gary Agnew

Gary Agnew has a long and varied career in the technology and industrial sectors. Gary began their career in 1995 as the Director (Executive) of the Equipment Solutions Division for Finning International in the UK & Ireland. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic development and full P&L accountability of the business. Gary then moved to the Vice President, Customer Solutions position for Finning Canada, where they were part of the business transformation agenda. In 2015, they were part of the executive leadership team for the $230m acquisition of Kramer Ltd. and subsequently became Vice President, Finning Digital, founding the new global division of Finning International Inc. In 2019, they took on two Senior Consultant roles, one at Irdeto and one at Finger Food Advanced Technology Group. In 2022, they joined Acetech as a Board Member. Most recently, they became the CEO and Cofounder of Ideon Technologies Inc., pioneering the application of cosmic-ray muon tomography to transform subsurface discovery.

Gary Agnew received their Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Sunderland in 1994. Gary then went on to receive their Master of Arts in Marketing from the same university in 1995. After that, they attended the Stanford University Caterpillar 'Digging Deep' Program in 2012-2013 to pursue Executive Development.
