Mathias Berg-Johansen

Mathias Berg-Johansen is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in product and systems management. Currently serving as Product & Systems Manager at IDE Group since July 2023, Mathias previously worked at Nanosonics from August 2017 to July 2023 in various roles, including Project Manager and Systems Engineering Manager, where leadership encompassed a team growth from 6 to 25 engineers. Mathias has also contributed to system engineering practices as Chair of the Systems Engineering Working Group at Nanosonics. Earlier career experiences include positions at DeSoutter Medical, where development focused on surgical tools, and at Rheinmetall, involving defense product development. Mathias holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Groningen and a Bachelor of Science in Computational Engineering from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
