Harris Lau has a diverse background in software quality assurance and testing, spanning multiple companies. Harris started their career at Sprint Nextel as a Software Engineer/System Analyst, where they worked from 1999 to 2001. During this time, they also served as a Test Lead for major projects, such as the Unified Billing Project (UBP) converting Convergys to Amdocs.
In 2009, Harris joined CSC as a Senior Software Quality Professional. In this role, they took on a leading position, coordinating the development and documentation of test strategies, test plans, and test execution methodologies. Harris was also a co-author of the System Design Development Testing Plan. Additionally, Harris created processes and implemented workflows in a test management tool for action item and defect tracking.
Since 2010, Harris has been working at Idera Software as a Senior QA Engineer. Here, they have been responsible for requirement analysis and feedback, design analysis and improvement, and test planning.
