Praveen Vecha

Praveen Vecha is a seasoned financial services executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Managing Director and CEO of IDFC FIRST Bharat Ltd since February 2021, Praveen has previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at APAC Housing Finance Pvt Ltd and Senior Director at IDFC Bank. Notable achievements include successfully integrating operations of Grama Vidiyal Micro Finance Ltd with IDFC Bank's rural business, significantly enhancing profitability. Praveen's career also encompasses key roles at Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd, ICICI Lombard, and Coromandel International Ltd, where expertise in sales, risk management, and strategic initiatives has been demonstrated. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Program in Agricultural Business and Management from the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Acharya N.G.
