Garvita Chawla

Garvita Chawla has extensive experience in finance and investment management. Garvita started their career as an Article with S. S. Kothari Mehta & co. in 2004. Garvita then moved on to roles at HSBC, ABN AMRO, Elite Stock Management, and Globe Capital Markets Limited, where they gained experience in credit analysis, relationship management, and investment advisory. In 2013, they founded Sabio Capital, managing equity funds and leading a team of analysts. From 2014 to 2022, they served as the Head of Finance at Safe Water Network, overseeing finance, reporting, compliance, fundraising, and partnerships. Currently, they are working at IDinsight as the Director of Finance, Planning & Analysis, and will be transitioning to the role of Deputy CFO in April 2023. Garvita'sexperience includes financial planning, team leadership, and strategic financial management across multiple organizations.

Garvita Chawla completed their under graduation in Commerce at Manav Bharati School from 1990 to 2001. Garvita then pursued a B. Com (H) degree at Delhi University from 2002 to 2004. Following that, they obtained a CA degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2002 to 2006. Lastly, they pursued further education in Investments and Securities as a CFA level 3 candidate at the CFA Institute, USA from 2010 to 2014.
