Mark Younger works in strategy and business development at Apple. In this role, he drives Apple’s institutional and public impact businesses across the health, education, and government sectors. He also led deal development with Apple’s telecom and carrier partners worldwide. Prior to Apple, Mark worked at Samsung NEXT, Samsung’s global innovation center, first in Korea and later in London and Silicon Valley, investing in, acquiring, and partnering with software startups to help them scale into integrated businesses. He has led and supported numerous tech startups in the economic development space across Latin America, South Asia, and Africa, specializing in financial services innovation, alternative energy, and online marketplaces. Mark has an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, where he was a Reynolds Fellow in Social Entrepreneurship and a George Leadership Fellow. He completed his undergraduate work at Duke University in electrical and computer engineering.
