Ram Kandarpa

Ram Kandarpa currently serves as Vice President at Iteris, Inc., overseeing the federal and emerging technologies consulting practice since August 2019. Previously, Kandarpa was a Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton from February 2006 to July 2019, where leadership of the federal ITS business was undertaken. Prior experience includes a role as Associate at Castle Rock Consultants, managing the Virginia office from November 1995 to January 2006, and a position as Research Fellow at the U.S. Department of Transportation's FMCSA Office of Motor Carriers from August 1994 to October 1995. Earlier in 1994, Kandarpa contributed as a Researcher at the Center for Transportation Research at Virginia Tech. Educationally, Kandarpa holds a Master of Science in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from GITAM Deemed University.
