Jean-Marie Pilven

Jean-Marie Pilven is a Senior Scientific Associate at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd since June 2017, specializing in process chemistry R&D and the optimization and scale-up of multistep synthesis across various therapeutic areas. Previously, Jean-Marie held positions focusing on synthesis services, drug discovery chemistry in fibrosis, and was responsible for essential equipment used in medicinal chemistry. Prior experience includes a role at Actelion and as a Scientific Associate at Merck KGaA, where Jean-Marie worked on the synthesis and optimization of SGLT-2 receptor molecules. Jean-Marie holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Pharmaceutical Medicine from ECPM, and a Master's degree in Drug Design and Combinatorial Chemistry from the University of Orleans, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Université de Rennes I.
