Frans de Wet

Frans De Wet is an experienced IT management professional with a diverse background in information technology across various organizations. Currently serving as the IT Infrastructure and Support Manager at IDR since October 2024, Frans previously held the position of Information Technology Manager at Prodigy Finance and also at another company from January 2023 to September 2024. Additional experience includes serving as Senior IT Manager for IT Services at Clickatell and IT Manager at MiX Telematics. Prior roles encompass Virtual CIO/CTO/IT Manager at Heimdallr Trust and Systems Integration Specialist at Equra Health, among others. Frans holds a technical degree as an AWS Architect from Torque IT and possesses extensive knowledge in IT governance and infrastructure management, evidenced by the role at Metropolitan Health Group. Education includes studies at Stellenbosch University and Charlie Hofmeyer, where foundational skills in IT were developed.
