Aleksei Grigorev

Aleksei Grigorev is a Machine Learning Engineer at ID R&D since August 2019, specializing in advancing biometric systems across various tasks such as facial liveness, face recognition, deep fakes detection, and forgery detection. Previously, Aleksei worked as a Computer Vision Engineer at Harbin Institute of Technology from 2014 to July 2019, contributing to research and engineering initiatives, including the implementation of GLOH and SIFT descriptors for gesture recognition systems. Additionally, a research internship at Microsoft Research Asia involved research in person re-identification and detection and the implementation of cutting-edge algorithms. Early career experience included a role as a Junior Developer at R-style Vostok, focusing on web, mobile, and desktop applications. Aleksei holds a PhD and two Master's degrees in Computer Science from Harbin Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Pacific National University.
