Arunim Devroy

Arunim Devroy has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Arunim began their career with a summer internship at D-Link India Limited in 2004. Arunim then worked as a summer intern at NetIQ in 2007, where they partially ported a patch installation module from Visual Basic to C# and tested and validated patches.

In 2006, Arunim joined the University of Houston as a Research Assistant, where they developed image processing software and a framework in Java for facilitating image processing. Arunim also implemented an implicit frame processing API framework and conducted practical laboratory classes for C++ and assembly language as a Teaching Assistant.

From 2009 to 2012, Arunim worked at Skolix as an Application Server Administrator, responsible for upgrading and maintaining the VPN server and writing automation scripts for user environment setup. During the same period, they also worked at R1Soft as a Software Engineer, where they developed and maintained the Server Backup Manager software using Java and Hibernate.

In 2012, Arunim joined Idera Software as a Senior Software Developer, where they acted as a scrum master and contributed to the design and development of "Idera SQLelements", a product for database monitoring. Arunim also played a key role in developing an automated testing framework for the product.

From 2014 to 2017, Arunim worked at Continuum Managed Services as a Lead Software Engineer, where they led a project to redesign the core product interface, resulting in improved early adoption and customer retention.

In 2017, Arunim joined IDT Corporation as an Engineering Manager, where they designed microservices, implemented agile processes, and established release trains and landscapes for software testing and delivery. Arunim was later promoted to Director of Engineering and eventually Vice President of Engineering.

In 2019, Arunim co-founded Fractalbots and continues to contribute to the company as a Co-Founder.
