David Wartell

David Wartell is currently the Chief Technology Officer at IDT Corporation. David has also served as a Board Member for StorReduce and as the Executive Vice President for IDERA Software. David also took a mini-retirement from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they were the Chief Executive Officer for R1Soft.com. David has invented Continuous Data Protection for Linux and Windows servers and has bootstrapped backup software businesses.

David Wartell earned their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from Michigan State University. David is currently a member of the Leading Disruptive Innovation Advisory Board at Rutgers University.

Their manager is Samuel Jonas, CEO. They are on a team with Bill Pereira - President and Chief Operating Officer, Mitch Silberman - Chief Accounting Officer and Controller, and Menachem Ash - Executive Vice President of Strategy and Legal Affairs.
