Merav Cohen Blasbalg has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Merav is currently the CEO of IDU Israel Directors Union, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at JDC (The Joint) as a Program Manager and professional director for the Center for Lay Leadership, ELKA for three years from March 2019 to July 2022. From February 2017 to January 2019, they served as the Managing Director of "The Israeli Hope" Presidential Program and Partnerships Manager Development at Ruppin Academic Center.
Before that, Merav worked at Tal-Ya Agriculture Solutions as the Director of Business Development and Local Market Manager. In this role, they were responsible for developing technological innovation in the field of agriculture and sustainability worldwide, as well as managing the local market and creating joint ventures with potential customers.
Additionally, they held the position of VP Strategic Partnerships at menifa.org.il, an organization focused on addressing the issue of drop-out youth from school. During their tenure, they established and managed partnerships with government institutions, communal and private associations, and implemented projects in 50 centers. Merav also played a key role in resource allocation and partnership development.
