Gabriel Massote

Gabriel Massote is currently the Partner and CTO at idwall. Gabriel has previously worked as the Tech Lead at Walmart eCommerce Brasil (Walmart.com) from September 2015 to January 2018. There, they specialized in developing Java and Ruby applications. Gabriel was also the Technical Lead at Checkout Product (Now) and at Marketing Product. At Checkout Product, they led the live migration of the Redis cluster using Twemproxy to a Redis 3 Cluster. Gabriel also started the system redesign of Checkout product for 2018. The current Checkout product was built on top of Java SpringBoot and Redis 3 Cluster. At Marketing Product, they created the first redesigning of the marketing feed tool based on a legacy application and new requirements. The feed tool sync Walmart catalog (products) with Google, Facebook and other partners to improve organic or promoted content. Feed tool was built on top of messaging architecture using Java SpringBoot, Apache Camel, RabbitMQ, OracleSQL and MongoDB. Prior to their work at Walmart, Gabriel Massote was the CTO and Co-Founder at ClapMe from March 2014 to March 2017.

Gabriel Massote has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from UFSCar - Alumni, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais, and a certification from Sun Micro Systems Inc in Sun Certified Java Programmer 6.
