Project Engineering Lead at IEC Holden

Alexandre Roy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Alexandre is currently working at IEC Holden as a Project Engineering Lead, where they are responsible for leading engineering projects. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Bid Coordinator and Bid Coordinator at the same company.

Before joining IEC Holden, Alexandre was a Formula Electrical Member at Concordia SAE. Alexandre worked on accumulator and power-train design for an electric formula race car project. Alexandre'sadvisory role supported their expertise in motor drive design and construction.

Alexandre also served as a Network Administrator at Western Grain Trading Inc., where they configured and maintained computer networks and systems. Alexandre provided technical support, implemented solutions, and managed various systems and software.

At EcoMotor Works, Alexandre was involved in the development, research, simulation, and prototyping of a novel drive for a switched reluctance motor. Alexandre co-led the project, conducted research on motor and drive topologies, and handled administrative functions.

In their early career, Alexandre worked as a Sales Specialist at Microbytes and as a Sales Assistant at CIBC World Markets.

Alexandre Roy, CEP/CPI, completed their education history as follows. From 2013 to 2017, they attended Concordia University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2013, they attended CEGEP - John Abbott College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Environmental Science.
