Joni Van Reenan

Joni Van Reenan has extensive experience in the education field. Joni is currently a Senior Manager of School Partnerships at iEducate since September 2021. Prior to their current role, they worked at the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco. From November 2017 to June 2019, they served as a Site Director, overseeing operations. Before that, they were an Assistant Clubhouse Director from June 2019 to March 2021. Joni also served as an AmeriCorps Site Coordinator at Reading Partners from August 2016 to June 2017. Joni gained management experience as the Assistant Director of Ascend Center for Learning at the Literacy Coalition of Central Texas from January 2015 to February 2016. Prior to that, they were an Adult Basic Education Instructor and Grant Manager at Ascend Center for Learning from January 2011 to December 2014. Their career journey started as an Instructor at The Austin Academy from March 2003 to December 2010. Joni also has experience as the Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center from January 2001 to February 2003.

Joni Van Reenan has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Elementary Education from Texas State University. Prior to this, Joni obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of Houston. In addition to their degrees, Joni holds certifications as a Certified Classroom Teacher in Elementary Reading grades 1-8, Elementary Self-Contained grades 1-8, and Mathematics grades 4-8. These certifications were obtained from the Texas State Board for Educator Certification in June 2021.
