Dr.parameshachari B D

Dr. Parameshachari B D has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Dr.Parameshachari is currently serving as the SAC Chair for IEEE Bangalore Section, where they drive student-oriented initiatives and offers guidance to the section. Dr.Parameshachari is also an EXECOM Member for IEEE Bangalore Section. Additionally, they are a Professor at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bangalore, which is a highly regarded engineering institute. Dr. Parameshachari founded the IEEE Information Theory Society Bangalore Chapter and served as the Founder Chair, focusing on the processing, transmission, and storage of information. Dr.Parameshachari also holds the role of Treasurer for IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS). Furthermore, Dr. Parameshachari has been recognized as an ACM Distinguished Speaker, representing the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). Dr.Parameshachari has served as the Chair and Founder Chair_Elect for IEEE Mysore Subsection, successfully organizing various activities for students and professionals. Dr. Parameshachari previously worked as a Professor & Head at GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysuru, and held teaching positions at K S Institute of Technology, Bangalore and JSSATE, Mauritius. Overall, they have a strong background in academia and leadership roles in the field of engineering and technology.

Dr. Parameshachari B D completed their education as follows:

- From 2010 to 2015, they studied at Jain (Deemed-to-be University) and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Image Processing.

- Between 2006 and 2008, they pursued their Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Digital Communication from B. M. S. College of Engineering.

- In the period from 1999 to 2003, they attended Kalpataru Institute of Technology, TIPTUR, and acquired a Bachelor's degree in E & C.
