Craig Schlenoff

Craig Schlenoff has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and automation. Craig started their career in 2000 as the Director of Domain Knowledge and Ontologies at VerticalNet. In 2002, they joined the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as the Group Leader of the Cognition and Collaboration Systems Group. Craig later took on the role of Project Leader and currently serves as the Program Manager for the Measurement Science for Manufacturing Robotics Program at NIST. In 2015, Schlenoff became the Associate Vice President of Standardization at the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in various areas of robotics and has contributed significantly to research and development in the field.

Craig Schlenoff earned their Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Craig then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1994 to 1995. Craig went on to further their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Université de Bourgogne, completing their studies from 2011 to 2014.
