Steve Markowitz

Steve Markowitz is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in diverse industries. As the Trustee and CIO of Markowitz Trust since 2001, Steve oversees a family office focused on ethical investments. Steve co-founded and serves as Chairman of LifeDNA, a personal genomics company, and also holds similar roles at iFirst Medical Technologies, a developer of innovative diagnostic devices, and Beestripe LLC, an app development venture. Additionally, Steve is a seed investor in Volta Charging and played a pivotal role in the growth of Green Chef, which merged into HelloFresh SE. Early career highlights include founding MyPoints.com, a pioneer in loyalty marketing, and work as a securities analyst and foreign correspondent in Japan. Steve holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. in East Asian Languages.
