Sidharth Sahdev

Sidharth Sahdev has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sidharth started their career as a Co-founder at Securite, where they worked on developing an Under Vehicle Surveillance System. Sidharth then worked as a Software Developer & Technical Lead at xBITS Pvt. Ltd., focusing on the development of a point of care device for rapid detection of antibiotic sensitivity. Sidharth also gained research experience as a Research Intern at Télécóm ParisTech, where they worked on augmenting desktop workstations with actuated devices.

Sidharth then transitioned into the robotics field, working as a Junior Researcher at Security Defence Systems, where they contributed to the manufacturing of defense products. Sidharth later joined York University as a Research Assistant, where they designed Convolutional Neural Network architectures for object detection. Sidharth continued their research career at Tactual Labs Co. and MTL.AI Inc., where they worked on human-to-computer sensing technology and augmented reality-based marketing.

Sidharth then pursued a Bachelor Research Thesis in Human Computer Interaction from Télecom Paris. Following that, they achieved a Master of Science (Applied Computing) degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. In addition to their formal education, Sidharth also obtained certifications in Machine Learning, Image and video processing, and Control of Mobile Robots from Coursera.
