Catherine Borremans

Catherine Borremans has over 15 years of experience in marine biology and data engineering, currently holding the position of Marine Biology & Imagery Engineer and Marine Biology Data Engineer at IFREMER since April 2010. Catherine's expertise encompasses deep-sea observations, underwater videography, biodiversity studies, and taxonomy. Prior to IFREMER, Catherine served as Marine Data Manager at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences from December 2008 to April 2010, and as an Undergraduate Contract Researcher at the Marine Biology Lab of Université Libre de Bruxelles between January 2006 and March 2008. Catherine holds a degree in Bioengineering from Université libre de Bruxelles, completed in 2005.
