Céline Jacob

Céline Jacob is a researcher at Ifremer since January 2024, previously serving as Project Manager for REGINA-MSP at CEREMA. Prior experience includes a consultant and researcher role in Blue Economy at Vertigo Lab, and a postdoctoral fellowship focused on wetlands offset at Outaouais University. Céline also worked as a postdoctoral fellow on socio-economic analysis related to the European Marine Strategy Framework Directive at IFREMER and completed a PhD on Marine and Coastal Biodiversity Offsets at CREOCEAN. Early roles included positions as a project assistant in various projects linked to socio-economic indicators and economic analysis within marine environmental frameworks. Céline holds a PhD in Geography and Spatial Planning from Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III and a Master's degree in Environment and Life Sciences from AgroParisTech.
