Nicolas Raillard is an experienced research statistician specializing in ocean-meteorological modeling and data analysis. Currently, Nicolas holds the position of Chercheur en Statistique pour l'Océano-météo at IFREMER since November 2016, focusing on statistical methodologies for modeling maritime environmental conditions and probabilistic evaluations of marine structure responses. In addition, Nicolas serves as a researcher associated with the Laboratoire de Mathématiques de Bretagne Atlantique at Université de Bretagne-Sud. Previous roles include consulting at See-d, where statistical and mathematical methods were applied to optimize business performance, as well as post-doctoral research at Inria and IFREMER, which emphasized advanced simulations and modeling in various applications.
