Tyler Bones

Tyler Bones is a seasoned professional in emergency response and hazardous materials management, currently serving as a Council Member for the Alaska Fire Standards Council and as the Director of HSSE Compliance for Alaska West Express. With extensive involvement in various committees, including roles as Chair of the HazMat Committee for the Alaska Fire Standards Council and State Coordinator for TRANSCAER, Tyler works to enhance community preparedness for hazardous materials incidents throughout Alaska. Additionally, Tyler has served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, educating future professionals in Fire Protection Systems and Hazardous Materials. With a significant tenure on the Fairbanks North Star Borough HazMat Response Team, starting as a Technician and advancing to Chief, Tyler Bones brings over two decades of experience to the field, further supported by educational degrees in Municipal Fire Control and Hazardous Materials Control from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
