Abdullah ibn Mafiz

Abdullah Ibn Mafiz, PhD, PMP, is a seasoned microbiologist currently serving as the Principal Investigator at iFyber, where responsibilities include supervising a research team and managing a microbiology lab to ensure timely and accurate testing services. With a robust background that includes a Research Microbiologist role at Tennessee State University, Abdullah led projects focusing on antimicrobial-resistant pathogens, and previously contributed as a Post-doctoral Researcher at the FDA, where methods for microbiological testing were developed and validated. Abdullah's academic foundation includes a PhD in Food Microbiology from Wayne State University and advanced degrees in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Dhaka. Early career experiences include roles as a Research Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Lecturer, and R&D Intern, all of which involved significant contributions to microbiology research and education.
