Zeinab R. Ghafouri

Zeinab R. Ghafouri, Ph.D., is a seasoned legal expert specializing in intellectual property law and litigation, currently serving as a Project Manager at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property since September 2018. With a robust academic background, including a Ph.D. in Private Law and Intellectual Property Law from Shahid Beheshti University, Zeinab has held various academic positions such as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Bern and a Research Assistant in the IP Department at Shahid Beheshti University. Additionally, substantial experience as an Attorney at Law specializing in civil and intellectual property cases was gained over eight years with the Iran Central Bar Association. Zeinab has also contributed to legal education by coordinating seminars for legal trainees and has been involved in numerous research initiatives at prestigious institutions, including the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and the University of Zurich.
