Jc Gray

JC Gray is an experienced professional with a strong background in synthetic biology, biotechnology, and education. As a Volunteer Organizer for the iGEM Foundation since October 2017, JC has contributed to advancing synthetic biology through global interdisciplinary team competitions. JC's consulting experience at Prometheus Federal Services in 2023 complements a tenure as Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Diatech Diabetes, Inc., where responsibilities included directing preclinical trials and securing significant NIH funding. Previous roles encompass Production Manager at BioFront Technologies, overseeing assay development and enhancing production capacity, and a Supervisor at the Challenger Learning Center, delivering educational programs and managing staff. JC began a career in research as a Neurobiological Researcher Assistant at Florida State University College of Medicine, focusing on experimental design in neurobiology, following a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical-Biomedical Engineering from Florida State University.
