Jonathan Indajang is a Product Development Analyst at iGEM, where responsibilities include designing models for a throughput reactor to synthesize 7-methylxanthines, utilizing ANSYS and fluid mechanics simulations. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University, Jonathan studies the effects of neuromodulators on decision-making in mice using Optogenetics. Previous experience includes research roles at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, an Amgen Scholar internship at Harvard University, and a Research Assistant position at Boston Children's Hospital. Jonathan also served as an Army Combat Medic with the Singapore Armed Forces during the COVID pandemic, contributing to national health responses. Additionally, Jonathan has experience in biotechnological device development and has served as principal organist at Calvary Episcopal Church. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Cornell University, obtained in 2023.
