Michael Boateng

Michael Boateng is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering research, teaching, and project management. Currently serving as a Research Engineer at Ashesi University, Michael leads a project focused on developing an automated smart sauce dispenser aimed at improving operational efficiencies in the food service sector in Ghana. Michael's roles at Ashesi also include Research and Teaching Assistant, Editor-in-Chief of the SEED Journal, and Career Peer Advisor, showcasing expertise in electronic components and educational support. As Co-Captain of iGEM, Michael contributes to advancements in synthetic biology, while previous experiences include project management at WasteBusters and participation in international conferences as a presenter. Michael Boateng holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ashesi University and is pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.
