Yan-Kay H.

Yan-Kay H. is currently a Project Manager for Synthetic Biology Toolkits at Cambridge University Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, coordinating efforts for accessible research tools. Additionally, Yan-Kay serves as Community Manager at Reclone.org, fostering support for equitable access to biotechnology, and is currently a participant in the Open Life Science Open Seeds program. As part of Yan-Kay's involvement with iGEM, there are roles in both the Human Practices Committee and the Judging Working Group. Yan-Kay's academic journey includes a PhD in Synthetic Biology and Biotechnology from UCL, along with experience as a Research Technician and Python Programming Demonstrator. Previous roles include a Research Scientist at Nuclera and a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at Birkbeck, University of London.
