Kaisu Luiro-Helve

Kaisu Luiro-Helve serves as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Helsinki University Central Hospital since October 2015, focusing on reproductive medicine, including reproductive endocrinology, infertility, and transsexualism. Concurrently, Kaisu has held the role of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at IGENOMIX since September 2018 and previously at the University of Helsinki from September 2013 to September 2018, working on the PRIMA Study investigating ovarian dysfunction and its health implications under the guidance of Professor Juha S. Tapanainen. Kaisu's clinical training includes positions as Chief Resident and Resident Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Helsinki University Central Hospital and experience in other medical institutions. Kaisu's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine and an M.D. from the University of Helsinki, complemented by a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from Mahidol University.
