Ian Johnston

Ian Johnston has extensive experience in finance and project management, currently serving as Finance Director and Trustee at Carnegie Theatre & Arts Centre since October 2015. At Iggesund Paperboard, where Ian has been employed since February 1989, Ian held positions as Senior Project Manager, overseeing significant business projects such as the implementation of a new Sales and Planning system and the upgrade of mill production control systems, as well as serving as Information Technology Manager with responsibility for all IT operations. Ian's career commenced as IT Manager at Copeland Borough Council from June 1984 to January 1989. Ian holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Coventry University, earned between 1974 and 1978.
