Kat Bailey

Kat Bailey is a seasoned journalism professional with extensive experience in the gaming industry. As the News Director at IGN Entertainment since April 2021, Kat manages global news coverage and is a key member of the senior leadership team, overseeing editorial and site strategy. Previously, Kat served as Editor in Chief at USgamer from 2017 to 2021, where efforts focused on increasing website traffic and leading a new editorial team. Prior roles include Senior Editor positions at both USgamer and IGN, along with contributions to various publications as an independent journalist and associate editor at GamePro. Kat Bailey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Japanese, and History from the University of Minnesota.
