Jefferson Jones

Jefferson Jones is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in software and systems development. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Ignis Technologies since January 2023, Jefferson focuses on creating innovative tools for effective wildfire management. Prior to this role, Jefferson held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Figure from February 2020 to January 2023, where leadership was provided to mortgage LOS and banking engineering teams leveraging blockchain technology. Jefferson's background also includes serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Evite and as Chief Technology Officer at Beartooth, overseeing technical efforts including software, firmware, and hardware design. Jefferson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Montana State University-Bozeman between 2013 and 2015.
