Tara Defrancesco

Tara DeFrancesco, CPA, CA has extensive work experience in finance and administration, with a particular focus on financial operations and strategic planning. Tara served as the Director of Finance & Administration at IGNITE, where they managed an $11M+ operating budget and ensured the fulfillment of organizational objectives. Tara also held the position of Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee on the Board of Directors at Rapport Youth and Family Services. Prior to these roles, they worked at BDO Canada as a Manager in Audit & Assurance and at BDO LLP as a Senior Accountant. Their earlier career included roles as a Staff Accountant at MacGillivray and as a Volunteer Peer Advisor at Wilfrid Laurier University Career Centre.
