Tapiwa Zhande

Tapiwa Zhande is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in product management and software development. Currently serving as a Technical Product Owner at Ignition Group since June 2023, Tapiwa is responsible for backlog management, sprint planning, team capacity management, and stakeholder engagement. Prior roles include Software Product Manager and Development Team Lead at Adapt IT (Pty) Ltd, where Tapiwa oversaw software development and support, as well as served as a Senior Consultant in the sugar manufacturing industry. Earlier positions include Group IT Manager at Fidelity Life Assurance Company Zimbabwe, focusing on IT strategy and administration, and IT Consultant at Twenty Third Century Systems. Tapiwa holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc)(Honours) in Computer Science from the National University of Science and Technology and has pursued further education at the University of Cape Town and DYNA Training.
