Tom Maruko is an accomplished professional video and photojournalist, film editor, and producer with extensive experience in various media roles across East Africa. With a career spanning over two decades, Maruko has worked with notable organizations such as IHA Ihlas News Agency, Xinhua News Agency, and Agence France Presse, focusing on sports, business, and entertainment journalism. In addition to being a fully accredited correspondent based in Nairobi, Maruko holds a diploma in TV video production from the East African School of Media Study and degrees in photojournalism and TV production from Kenya Polytechnic. Skilled in capturing compelling visuals using Canon and Sony cameras, Maruko is dedicated to quality storytelling through effective multimedia communication.
