Sopan Shah

Sopan Shah is a seasoned procurement and supply chain executive with extensive experience in global procurement leadership. Currently serving as SVP and Chief Procurement Officer at IHG Hotels & Resorts since September 2015, Sopan leads a team of over 140 professionals across 18 countries, managing significant spending to drive growth, innovation, and efficiency for the organization. Previous roles at IHG include Vice President positions focused on global brand and hotel procurement and supply chain efficiency. Prior to IHG, Sopan held leadership positions at Nestlé, overseeing global advertising and marketing services procurement, and at NBCUniversal as a Sourcing Manager. Additional experience includes strategic roles at General Mills and Intel Corporation. Sopan is also a Board Member at the Institute for Supply Management, contributing to governance and strategic skill development for supply management professionals. Sopan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University.
